Children In Need
Bungay High School students have raised an amazing £2364.98 for ‘Children In Need’ over the last few weeks, demonstrating the positive community spirit and generous nature of the students, staff and parents. Year 9 Child Development students promoted the fundraising by studying the work of the ‘Children In Need’ charity and explaining to other students how the money from ‘Children In Need’ is used. They created a giant Pudsey Bear which students and staff filled with spare change. A bake sale was held in the school library. Students came to school wearing something spotty or ‘Children In Need’ T-shirts, ears, socks or other Pudsey related attire. The Sixth Form Netball Academy students and the Football Academy played a closely fought fundraising netball match which ended in a draw. All Year 7 students went on a 3 mile sponsored walk around Bungay. The sun came out to provide lovely weather and a brilliant community atmosphere for the occasion.
