We try to ensure that our students are as safe as possible when using the internet. At home internet access may not be filtered or monitored and so it is vital that students know how to stay safe on-line, and that parents and carers are aware of some of the dangers.
A key resource for E-Safety is the Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre who provide a reporting service as well as a great deal of advice and guidance for students and parents/carers.
Large numbers of students make use of social networking sites and a particular concern is that they may not configure their privacy settings appropriately and that they may give out too much personal information on line.
