Primary setting coming up in 2012 opening up opportunities to expand recruitment. The roll is not only for fundraising but transition, communication between schools and to give honest feedback to parent queries. SO’N will be available for discussion at meetings about upcoming events.
Results for current Year 11’s are looking at over 80% judging by targets in 5 A-C including maths and English.
Excellent A level results.
Current PAN 266 in Year 10, 240 in Year 9 and Year 10.
Students out of catchment are a higher percentage than ever before including the Harleston area.
PAN will go down to 210 in each Year group and the lower school will have reduced numbers over the next few years. We will continue to market as an outstanding school. Lots of visitors to the school daily at present.
Groups to Edinburgh Festival very successful
Included in the Bungay festival, which is great, via the Graphics team.
New website, new prospectus and sixth form prospectus.
Work Experience, local authority funding has been extinguished although the opportunity is still available to vocational studies and through work related learning.
Preparation for 2012 entering its final stages but getting very busy for the summer. With support from the Middle schools and financial support the Academy has the autonomy to make the decisions with the support of the Board of Trustees.
Good quality teaching and support staff followed by exciting new staff members and the stability of existing staff.
The Campus group at Halesworth, includes the Doctors, Education providers, Play and community, non-profit charity. Although the site will close as a school it will be developed as a sports and community area. The building and land has been gifted to the charity.
The death of our Year 11 student and our caretaker has been a challenging time. An outside memorial service was held last night to commemorate these deaths in our community.
20 Appointments to be filled over the next two months. Support staff and teaching staff.
Fundraising this year successful.
Bag packing and cake stall were good.
Communication ideas, invitation to be sent to thePTAof current Middle schools to join us at the High school. Primary schools to also be invited. Teaching staff support can be a target.
