We are pleased to report our A level results at Bungay High Sixth Form. The percentage of A levels graded at A* to C was 64% with a third of all entries graded at A*-B. The overall pass rate for our A levels is 98%. Impressively, the pass rate for our Level 3 vocational and technical courses is 100% with most of the grades awarded at the very highest levels.
Points per entry at A level generally have improved over time since 2013 and the performance of L3 Vocational subjects is rated as a Distinction* (45). We have an inclusive entry policy where students can study a wide range of 'A' Levels and/or vocational qualifications at Level 3. ALPS indicators show that our top performing subjects at A level were: Maths (3), Further Maths (3), and Physics (3). We are delighted to announce that our Physics results have proved consistently strong over the last 4 years resulting in us being the 3rd highest performing Physics Department out of 170 schools nationally. Additionally our Vocational Sports results make us one the highest performing faculties for boys results.

GCSE Results
We are extremely proud of the progress which our students make in the five years that they are with us. There has been a significant improvement in the progress that students are making in English and Maths alongside their other subjects. We are pleased that the hard work of students has been recognised through improved individual and collective whole school results. Overall, 67% of our students achieved 5A*-C, a 7% increase on last year, with 57% achieving 9 - 4 in English and Maths.
NB this is the last year we will compare 5 A* - C since this is no longer a key measure
