Local, national and international school trips and visits are encouraged.
Pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding is fostered both within the curriculum and through an extensive range of additional activities - Ofsted, 2016
The most recent trips have included Nicaragua, Iceland, Berlin, Scotland, Wales, Ypres and Austria.
The school runs a full range of extracurricular activities. These currently include: Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Club, Taekwondo, Amnesty International, Chess, Bridge, Maths Club, Jazz Band, Wind Band, Junior Orchestra, Rock Choir, ICT Activities, Book Club, Creative Writing, various sporting activities etc.
When spoken to by inspectors, pupils expressed confidence in members of staff and great satisfaction with their school. - Ofsted, 2016

Sporting Opportunities
We are one of the top performing schools in Suffolk for sport. The school is represented by teams in Hockey, Netball, Rounders, Cricket, Football, Rugby and many other sports. We pride ourselves on our high levels of sportsmanship as well as competitive spirit.
We have many coaches supporting the PE team and are very proud of our past students who have gone on to achieve national success in sport.
